The Gathering Place
Serve in the Community
Volunteer to serve the evening meal at The Gathering Place, 1448 E Street.
Help serve the meal prepared by Gathering Place staff. Volunteers are led by Gathering Place staff members. Plan to arrive at 4:30pm and serve until 6:30pm.
Volunteer duties include:
- dishing food on guests' plates/filling to-go boxes
- serving bread & butter
- offering dessert options
- washing dishes
- wiping tables & sweeping floors
- greeting guests and assisting them as needed
