  • Backpack Program at Saratoga Elementary School
  • Food Markets at Lincoln Northeast High School

Southwood also partners with Eventide Meals on Wheels to deliver boxes of food monthly.

Southwood volunteers help prepare and serve evening meals at:

• The Gathering Place on the 2nd Monday and 3rd Thursday of every month
• Matt Talbot Kitchen and Outreach on the 4th Tuesday and 5th Friday of every month

Another opportunity to deliver meals is available through the Eventide Meals on Wheels program.

You'll find the garden on the southeast side of the church property.  Each year volunteers help grow produce that is donated to the Food Bank for distribution in the community.

There are opportunities to work in the garden from June - October.  Volunteers plant, weed, harvest and transport produce throughout the growing season.

Clinic with a Heart serves people who are uninsured and underinsured through a ministry of healthcare. Southwood volunteers support the clinics on the 3rd Tuesday and 3rd Thursday every month.  There are roles for health care providers as well as non-clinical volunteers.

Southwood supports Saratoga Elementary with food donations for its Free Little Pantry. Items for donation can be left in the shopping cart by Southwood Central.
