Clinic with a Heart

Serve in the Community

Clinic with a Heart serves un/under-insured people in our community with free health care. With the help of many volunteers, they provide medical, dental, mental & vision health care, chiropractic care, pharmacy needs and personal hygiene items to thousands of people every year. Southwood has been honored to partner with Clinic with a Heart as they provide this important resource for our community for 20 years. Exciting changes are happening at Clinic with a Heart! In anticipation of the completion of a new building at 13th & F Streets in 2026, they are planning for improvements in patient care and the volunteer experience. Clinic with a Heart patients will have an experience very similar to visiting a private health provider. People will be served in an environment that shows everyone is worthy of quality health care. Volunteering as a health care provider will also become more predictable with scheduled appointment times for patients. Respecting volunteers’ time so that serving is a fulfilling experience. We invite you to join Southwood sponsored clinics on the 3rd Tuesday and 3rd Thursday of the month. Licensed health care providers, especially nurses and lab personnel, are needed. You can learn more about how Clinic with a Heart is serving our community and their exciting plans for the future at https://www.clinicwithaheart.org. Southwood’s team leaders are excited to welcome new volunteers in providing health care to our
community.
