In this role, you will provide 2 dozen cookies or bars for a funeral luncheon. Fortunately, our funerals don't happen very frequently, and we currently have three teams that rotate serving food at funerals.
If you would like to donate cookies, your name will be placed on a list for one of the teams. When that team is asked to serve, someone from the team will contact you to see if you would be willing to bring 2 dozen cookies or bars to church before the funeral.
Volunteer Appreciation Month calls for a celebration, especially knowing how amazing our volunteers are. Words can’t express how grateful we are for ALL the people who are the hands and feet of Jesus in our church, in our community and around the world. Stop by the Cafe during the month of April to enjoy special donut holes that remind us just how special you are to Southwood and to those you serve.
