At Southwood Lutheran, we offer serving opportunities at Southwood, in the community and around the world. Manage your serving at Southwood schedule and submit or accept a substitute request.
Giving Trees are up in the narthex, filled with Christmas wishes from our Mission Partners and Southwood families. By taking a tag from the trees at Southwood or online, you can fulfill a wish and brighten Christmas for a child, a woman escaping abuse, or a family going through crisis.

Assist guests at the Lincoln Public Schools Emergency Pantry.
Help prepare and serve the evening meal at Matt Talbot Kitchen & Outreach. We serve on the 4th Tuesday & 5th Friday of each month.
Lead a group of 8-10 youth in discussion and activities, which are provided. Classes are held on Wednesday evenings.
Help the Food Bank distribute food in the Southwood parking lot.
Care for children during MOPS meetings on Wednesday mornings.
Help distribute food to students at Northeast High School.
Provide care for children age five and under during worship.
Assist with Food Distribution in Palmyra, NE on 2nd Saturday of each month.
