God calls us uniquely and equips each of us with special talents. You can make a unique contribution in the body of Christ and we want to help put your gifts and passions to work. At Southwood Lutheran, we offer serving opportunities at Southwood, in the community and around the world. Volunteer Appreciation Month calls for a celebration, especially knowing how amazing our volunteers are. Words can’t express how grateful we are for ALL the people who are the hands and feet of Jesus in our church, in our community and around the world. Stop by the Cafe  during the month of April to enjoy special donut holes that remind us just how special you are to Southwood and to those you serve.

Usher

Welcome guests, assist with seating, hand out and collect bulletins, take the offering and direct worshipers to Communion on Sunday mornings.
