Ephesians 2:8-10

Ever walked through Sams or Costco on sample day? I mean, on a TRUE sample day. In every aisle, there is a new smiling face offering you everything from chicken fried rice and fajitas to ice cream bars, brownies, and even a drink sample. I find myself feeling guilty (and a little full) with all the free items. It was all FREE. No strings attached…free.
Now I know it’s only free sample day and it’s only an ice cream bar, but it feels great when something is free. I didn’t do anything besides walk into the store, and I got it all for free! That’s how God’s grace is. 100% free, no strings attached, free.
We are God’s work of art, and he wants us to use our gifts for others. Our gifts don’t make us better than others, or put us above others, but he wants us to go out and do his good works.
Go forth, celebrate the free gifts he has given us, and don’t forget to stop and taste the samples.

Prayer:
Dear Lord, Thank you for all that you are and all that you allow me to be. Thank You for loving me so much. Thank You for saving me by Your grace—not because of anything I did, But because you are kind and good. Help me remember that Your love is a gift, And I don’t have to earn it. Show me how to do the good things You planned just for me.
