At the special congregational meeting on Sunday, March 23, Southwood overwhelmingly voted yes to extend a call to Pastor Heidi Binstock for the position of Senior Pastor. Thank you to everyone who participated throughout this process - the Call Committee, the Church Council, and the almost 400 people who showed up at the meeting to show their support.
The Executive Committee, in partnership with the Nebraska Synod and Pastor Heidi, will now work to finalize the call. Details regarding her start date and installation will be shared as soon as they are available.
In the meantime, your continued prayers for Pastor Heidi and her family, as well as for Southwood during this transitional period, are greatly appreciated.
