Each week during July, we ask you to listen and hear the stories of others in the community. We are asking you to talk to your friends and neighbors about this. Use the below questions to start the conversation. Share your learnings with us.
The purpose is to remain a vital church in Lincoln and the surrounding area. We want to continue to meet the needs of our community and be relationship-focused as we pursue our mission to love God and love others. Southwood’s Vitality team will use the gathered information as a part of a church wide initiative to further grow and develop the ministries of Southwood.
Tips for talking with others: Focus on their individual stories, ask more questions, listen to them without passing judgment, be considerate (do not argue), and use your own words. Say more, please, and make sense to me. Thank them for their time.
