Christmas at Southwood 2025

25Nov

The Christmas season is always a special time at Southwood. We'll be celebrating Christ's birth with traditional Christmas carols and a retelling of the Christmas story.

Christmas Eve FAQ's
What should I know about parking?

We have generous parking available in both our front and back areas.

Which entrance should I use when I arrive?

Please use the main entrance if you park in the front lot and use the back (choir) doors if you park in the back parking lot. Our dedicated team of greeters will be stationed at both entrances to welcome you and assist with directions inside the building.

Which service is the best one for me to attend?

While all services are beautiful, the 7 & 9PM services are typically quieter if you prefer a less crowded setting. A gentle reminder, the 3 & 5PM services are typically the most crowded, so plan for extra time for parking and seating.

When will Holy Communion be offered?

Holy Communion will be offered exclusively during the 7 & 9PM services. All are invited to participate.

What is the appropriate dress code?

There is no formal dress code. We encourage you to dress comfortably and respectfully.

Will childcare or nursery services be available?

No, dedicated childcare or nursery services will be provided on Christmas Eve. Children are warmly welcome and invited to attend the main service with their parents.

Is there a special Christmas offering opportunity?

The offerings collected during Christmas will support Southwood's Mission efforts throughout the year. You may give via cash, check or online through our website.
