The Gathering Place is an historic house that serves as a soup kitchen with evening meals 7 days a week as well as other resources for the community. The house is located at 1448 E Street.

Volunteers arrive at 4:30pm. Off-Street parking is available in front of the house on E street or to the east of the house on Goodhue Boulevard.

Volunteers help serve the meal that has been prepared by Gathering Place staff by filling individual serving trays for guests to take with them or to eat in the house. After meal service is complete, volunteers will wipe down tables, sweep floors and empty trash bins. Gathering Place staff are on hand to direct volunteers and guests.
