Watch out for the red-head. You don’t eat meat? “Guess” jeans are the only brand cool people wear. You root for the Packers? Silly examples perhaps, but real. We know conscious and unconscious bias can be a roadblock that keeps us from finding common threads with our neighbors. Let’s look at scripture, share some stories and acknowledge ways bias keeps us from being servants in the world.

Sunni Richardson is a deacon in the ELCA and has served as a Discipleship Director at First Lutheran and Director for Leadership Development with the Nebraska Synod. Her current role is as Coach, Consultant, Trainer and Presenter with her own business.
