I am a girl who loves hope! I have approached most everything in my life with a glass half full mentality. A positive mindset full of joy, peace, and trust in the Lord has taken me everywhere I’ve wanted to go, as well as carrying me through some places I really didn’t want to go. I’ve never been the best at staying focused in church or studying my bible, but anytime that I need to feel connected, I turn to music. The inspiration just wasn’t coming to me in trying to write this devotion and the longer I reflected on this verse my brain started to sing. It was recalling a line from Great is Thy Faithfulness. “Pardon for sin and a peace that endureth, thine own dear presence to cheer and to guide, strength for today and bright hope for tomorrow, blessings all mine with 10,000 beside”.
I get a warm feeling and a flutter in my heart just thinking about what it feels like when that wave of joy and peace washes over me! That feeling of contentment then works as a momentum builder to help me continue to move forward with hope in my heart. Always hope! Hope for better, hope for more, hope for others, hope for yourself.

Prayer
Dear Lord,
Help me to keep hope in my heart so that I may feel the peace and joy the Lord has stored up for me. Help me to show others the hope that persisted and the joy it can bring.
