Lent 2024

Midweek Lent Services

Wednesdays, February 28 – March 20 - 6:30PM
The Art of Healing: Rhythms, Rituals, Reflections
Communion offered.

This Lent we’ll be exploring the art of healing through rituals, reflection, and rhythms of practice. Come each week as we experience ways to find healing in our everyday life. By focusing on the concepts of sabbath, time, song and reconciliation, words, and touch, God’s love and hope can be explored.

Below is the practice for worship each week:

  • February 28: Finger Labyrinth
  • March 6: Taizé
  • March 13: Lectio Divina
  • March 20: Anointing
Maundy Thursday

Thursday, March 28 - 6:30PM

He took the cup also, after supper, saying, “This cup is the new covenant in my blood. Do this, as often as you drink it, in remembrance of me.” 1 Corinthians 11:25 (NRSVUE)

At this service, we will celebrate Holy Communion as we remember Jesus’ last meal with his disciples before his death.

Good Friday

Friday, March 29 - 6:30PM
No communion offered.

“No one has greater love than this, to lay down one’s life for one’s friends.” John 15:13 (NRSVUE)

At this service, we remember Christ’s sacrifice on the cross as he conquered death so that we might live eternally with God.
