Jesus invites all people into God’s kingdom. He extends an invitation to join him at the table – even those with different lifestyles and beliefs. Jesus doesn’t judge or separate who deserves an invitation. Instead, Jesus welcomes all and asks us to love as he loves.
At Southwood Lutheran, our purpose is to “Grow in Our Love for God and Others” which means we are asked to extend the love of Jesus Christ to all people. We have an opportunity to invite others to the table and reach across the table to better know and understand each other’s lives and challenges. What a blessing to be able to come together, not to judge, but to seek and understand, to love and serve one another in the name of Christ.
